HealthELearning.net, already used by over 100,000 health professionals working in 200 NHS Trusts, is now e-commerce enabled.

Anyone can register on the portal and get direct access to a wide variety of cost-effective e-learning courses, simply by using a debit or credit card, so learners can start new courses almost immediately.

NHS Trusts, private healthcare institutions and individuals signed up to HealthELearing.net can choose to buy e-learning courses for themselves or other individuals, or even purchase courses for their team or training department.

Founder and Managing Director, Ken Wood, says:

“E-commerce enabling the portal brings good news to the health sector. It is now possible to purchase e-learning as a discretionary expense, instead of having to shell out considerable sums of money on licence fees. A line manager in the NHS or private healthcare organisation will no longer be forced to send a colleague on an external classroom course when they need the training urgently, but will now be able to use e-learning where appropriate for a fraction of the cost.”

As part of Course-Source’s ongoing commitment to develop and expand the site, new courses have been added to the HealthELearning.net including “NHS Continuing Healthcare, Common Assessment Framework (Managers and Practitioners)”, “Mental Capacity Act 2005″, “Adult Protection”, and “Caring for people with Dementia”.

Also featured in the extensive catalogue are courses in:

    • Management
    • Communication
    • Interviewing Skills
    • Customer Service
    • Diversity
    • Finance
    • IT
